CIMAGE Group of Institutions, Patna is continuously upgrading technical education in Bihar through practical and industry-oriented learning activities. Recently, students of BCA<\/a>, BSc-IT<\/a>, and MCA<\/a><\/strong> participated in an exciting Cobot (Collaborative Robot) hands-on activity<\/strong> conducted at the newly inaugurated e-Yantra Robotics Lab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The advanced robotics lab was inaugurated by the Hon\u2019ble Governor of Bihar, Lt. Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.)<\/strong>, on the occasion of National Technology Day 2026<\/a><\/strong>, marking a significant step toward strengthening robotics, AI, and automation education in Bihar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The practical robotics activity was conducted by an expert from Addverb Technologies<\/strong>, one of India\u2019s leading robotics and automation companies. The session introduced students to modern technologies including Collaborative Robots (Cobots), ROS-based systems, AI-powered automation, industrial robotics, and smart manufacturing applications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With industries rapidly adopting Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation Technologies<\/strong>, CIMAGE Patna is helping students build future-ready technical skills through real-world practical exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hands-on Cobot Learning Activity for BCA, BSc-IT & MCA Students<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the activity, students explored the working of a 6-axis collaborative robot (Cobot)<\/strong> designed for safe human-machine interaction. Unlike traditional industrial robots, collaborative robots are designed to work safely alongside humans and are widely used in smart factories and modern industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Students also learned how robotic systems are programmed using C++ programming and ROS-based frameworks<\/strong>, helping them understand the practical implementation of automation systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The activity became highly interactive as students manually controlled the robot and observed how collaborative robots perform industrial tasks in real-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
